2019-2020 7th Grade Blog

                             In language on Thursday we were playing a game to practice our vocab.                     In this photo Alyssa is throwing a ball into a basket to get to erase two x's on the board. They are writing down there word and if they get it right they get to erase an x or throw to erase two x's In math class we took a test on equivalent ratios. An example of what a question would be like is knowing the height and length of a shadow of a object and then using that to find out the length of a shadow on another object only knowing the height. In science class we watched a video about animals  and how they help each other and then wrote a two paragraph essay on it. In history we took a test on president Jackson ad decided if we thought he was a good president or bad one.

 This is Isabelle, Lorelei, Owen H., and Brittian doing goose chase an activity we do in language to learn our vocabulary words.  This is Aylla, Owyn F., Zach P., and Carson doing goose chase. We have to find and create our vocabulary words and then submit them to the game. We really like it!  In science, we had a self-paced pathogen assignment.  In math, we are learning about ratios and proportions.  In History, we are learning about the War of 1812.

                               Here we have Emma, Paislee, and Isabel in there Halloween costumes. "Three Peas in a Pod!"  This is a picture of Taite Raasch and Wyatt Warweg in Language Arts when we were doing the escape room. The escape room was an activity to learn more about theme. It was a very fun learning activity.   This is a picture of Paislee Peterson during Language Arts when we were working on our theme life posters. The theme life poster was a poster we created by choosing a theme that connects to our life.  This is a picture of Bodey Counsell and Dane Damson in Language Arts working on the escape room. The escape room was about a skill we were learning which was theme.
